CDL-Class A Truck driver

We are looking for a CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. Driver will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of construction materials and equipment to and from the project site.

Essential Role & Responsibilities:

• Safely Operate heavy haul vehicles, such as tractors, flatbeds and trailers in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Inspect truck pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and loads.
• Load and unload tooling and equipment.
• Track all driving activity via Fleetmatics system, noting any vehicle maintenance and driving hours in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain all load documents.
• Follow all permit routing instructions.
• Coordinate with Logistics Supervisor and Shop Manger to maintain efficient delivery schedules and info of any route delays.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, on the road and at the jobsite!

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL Driver’s license
• Clean driving record and proven safety record
• 3+ years of heavy haul experience, prefer Lowboy experience
• Ability to navigate a variety of construction vehicles and equipment for loading/unloading
• Must be able to handle a physical workload, lift 50+ lbs
• Strong time management skills
• Occasional overnights, or out of time work, hotel provided.
• Any additional endorsements a plus.
• Must pass a drug test and background check

$30-$38/hr DOE
