Equipment Serviced Food Equipment: Combi ovens, deli slicers, auto meat cutters, fryers, hot cases, ice makers, pizza ovens, rotisserie ovens, thermoglazers, donut cases, four bowl warmers, bakery ovens, bread slicers, tortilla makers. Grease and Oil Systems Oil/water separators, used cooking oil tanks. Food Safety: Understanding and limiting the risk of cross contamination in food production areas. What You'll Do As a General Facilities Maintenance Technician at our local retail store, you will perform routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, and fixtures. Under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, you’ll adhere to established maintenance schedules and guidelines, conduct inspections, clean, and repair facilities, equipment, or fixtures. Position Requirements 18 years or older High School Diploma or equivalent Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time Can move up and down ladders frequently Comfortable working at heights frequently Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time Able to work in various temperatures. Compensation Hourly wage range: $31.00 - $61.00* Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications, and other job‑related factors. Minimum Qualifications Option 1: Vocational or technical certification and 2 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area. Option 2: 4 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area. License in a related trade in the city and/or state where the job is located. Valid state‑issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report. Ability to read and speak the English language as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Preferred Qualifications Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years. Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years. Mechanical maintenance or construction‑related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls. No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
