Job Description SummaryThe “Machine” Product Specialist at Okuma America Corporation acts as the sales member who leads in creating sales tools for the Okuma Machine Tools and supporting events and training sessions where this expertise can help achieve greater results. This position ensures our Okuma and Distributor Sales forces have someone managing the product information needed to make them successful in engaging with customers and achieving the overall business plan.The identification of Essential Job Functions does not display an exhaustive list of all duties that may be assigned to this position, nor does it restrict the related work that may be assigned to this position. Develop and perform Product Training for Distributor Sales staffWork with Analyst’s and Regional teams to determine market trends and create strategy.Evaluate and provide Competitive Analysis on Competitor ProductsTravel to Distributors to perform educational trainingTravel with distribution to support sales callsTravel to support Distributor Open houses and eventsSupport OAC's open houses and eventsWeekly and Monthly Reporting on projects and travelAdheres to all company employment policies and safe practicesPerforms other duties as assigned and explores opportunities to add valueExperience/Training/EducationTrade or Tech SchoolAssociate Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial, or Business preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in a related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
