Hours per Shift: 8 hours (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Experience: Minimum 1 year required.
License: ARRT(R)(CT) certified required.
Certifications: ARRT R, BLS
Must-Have: Experience with GE CT scanners preferred. Knowledge of 3D rendering techniques such as Maximum Intensity Projection and Volume Rendering. Ability to perform CTs and X-Rays.
Description: This position involves working in a day shift environment. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. There is no on-call requirement. Rotational holiday coverage with existing staff applies. The candidate will be expected to perform various CT examinations including abdomen, chest, head, and vascular studies. The role also includes experience in administering contrast media and performing venipuncture. The technologist will work with patient age groups ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams is essential. Knowledge of isolation precautions and radiation safety is required. Travelers must expect to float as needed within the facility. Additional experience in charting systems and prior charge experience is preferred.
