Location: Float Phlebotomist Covering Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester and lower Connecticut Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm; Monday to Friday and 7:30am - 1:00pm; Saturday and (Day Off TDB)

Full-time: Benefits Eligible

Hourly Rate: $23.50hr - $25.00/hr

In this role you will:

• Obtain blood specimens and collect non-blood specimens such as urine, sputum, and throat swabs for laboratory testing
• Check the test requisition or computer label to assure correctness and completeness prior to collecting sample
• Follow all safety, infection control, and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines
• Process specimens to prepare them for laboratory testing
• Ensure the Patient Service Center is clean, tidy and presentable

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification
• At least 6 months experience, required
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple Sunrise locations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
