A contract night shift pharmacist position is available in Universal City, TX. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic pharmacy setting, focusing on dispensing medications safely and accurately during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and verify prescription orders during the night shift
- Provide expert pharmaceutical care and counseling to patients and healthcare staff
- Review and manage medication orders for appropriateness and potential interactions
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid pharmacist license
- Proven experience as a pharmacist in retail or hospital pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmacy law
- Ability to work independently overnight and handle emergency situations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
