Aftermarket Product Specialist

Kansas City Consolidated Accounting OfficeLocation: 4370 W. 109th St., Suite 210, Overland Park, Kansas 66211Summary: Responsible for accurately preparing, maintaining, transmitting, and posting aftermarket product in a timely manner.Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:Review and correct schedulesProcess cancellationsPost ACH payments receivedVerify cancellation forms are accurate and completely filled out to include customer/dealer signature and refund to section.Distribute refunds accordingly (ex. cut checks, down payment JE).Send cancellation request for processing.Verify monthly cancellation payments receivedPost monthly cancellation payments, upon receipt from accounting manager via bank reconciliation.Manage/clear cancellation schedules for each store.Provide notes for any issues that need attention from the dealership management and give to the accounting manager for weekly review in debriefs.Build relationships and communication with dealership personnel, accounting managers and HAG.Maintains CSI at or above Company standardsMaintains an organized, clean and safe work areaParticipates in required trainingRecords all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.Demonstrates the Company’s Core ValuesComplies with Company policies and proceduresObserves all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.Other duties as assignedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Previous Accounting experience in a high volume environment desired. Strong organizational skills required.Certificates and Licenses:o Valid Driver’s Licenseo Automobile Salesperson LicenseComputer Skills:Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Ability to learn the Dealership Management System, Spreadsheet software, accounting software, and inventory software.Communication Skills:Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and companypersonnel.Attendance Expectations:The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel.Environment Demands:Duties are performed primarily at a desk in an office setting.
