Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in school settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with visual impairments is highly valued
• Knowledge of basic braille is a plus; willingness to learn essential
• Patient, caring approach and strong communication skills
• Ability to follow directions from multiple educators and adapt as needed
• Dependability and excellent organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Offer 1:1 classroom support to a kindergarten student
• Assist with braille materials and facilitate safe participation in activities
• Work collaboratively with teachers and specialists to reinforce learning objectives
• Ensure consistent supervision to prioritize student safety
• Support social, emotional, and academic growth by encouraging engagement
• Adapt classroom resources to meet individual student needs as directed
