Finance Director

Job Duties

The City of Proctor is accepting applications for a full-time Finance Director. This leadership position oversees budgeting, accounting, audits, payroll, investments, cash management, tax levies, and financial reporting while supporting long-term fiscal stability.

The City recently completed a successful transition to a fully operational cloud-based Caselle financial system with trained staff and updated financial processes already in place. Proctor also maintains an updated capital improvement plan and continues to prioritize strategic financial planning and infrastructure investment.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and three years of accounting experience required. Municipal finance experience preferred. Salary range: $93,000-$125,000.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field
