CT Technologist - Weekend Option

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and ensuring patient safety at a hospital setting. Responsibilities Perform CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images efficiently. Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). Maintain cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment, report issues promptly. Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before exams. Communicate procedures clearly, address patient questions, and promote comfort and safety. Administer contrast media, position patients properly, and apply appropriate shielding and immobilization. Review images for quality, make necessary adjustments, and document accurately in RIS/PACS systems. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support infection control practices. Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure regulatory compliance. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. At least 1 year of radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).
