Pega Senior System Architect

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) / Lead System Architect (LSA) with strong expertise in Pega Constellation , case management, workflow automation, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of scalable Pega solutions, drive Constellation UI adoption, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver modern, low-code applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise applications using Pega Platform and Constellation UI .
• Lead the architecture and development of Pega case management, workflows, decisioning, and integrations.
• Build and configure Constellation views, templates, DX APIs, and reusable components.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Define application architecture, security, performance, and integration standards.
• Integrate Pega applications with REST/SOAP services, databases, and external systems.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Pega guardrails and best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years (SSA) / 12+ years (LSA) of Pega development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Pega Constellation Architecture and modern Pega UI development.
• Expertise in Pega Case Management, Data Modeling, Business Rules, Flows, and Integrations.
• Experience with Constellation DX APIs , Views, and Design System.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and system integrations.
• Experience with Pega deployment, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA).
• Experience with Pega Customer Service, Smart Dispute, Sales Automation, or other Pega frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Healthcare domains.

Nice to Have

• Migration experience from Theme Cosmos/UI-Kit to Constellation.
• Experience building reusable Constellation components and extending Constellation UX.
• Knowledge of DevOps, automated testing, and enterprise architecture patterns.
