The Opportunity

We are imminently about to launch our newly designed platform to take us to a new level. We’re looking for a hungry, polished MEDIA SALES EXECUTIVE to bring local and regional businesses into the Franklinis.com community. You’ll be selling a powerful suite of digital advertising products that deliver real results:

• Display advertising on Franklinis.com — premium placements on a high-traffic, trusted local site

• Sponsored stories — branded content woven into the editorial experience our readers love

• Newsletter advertising — direct access to 50,000 engaged subscribers who open our emails because they want what’s inside

• Sizzle Awards sponsorships and advertising — align your clients with the biggest local awards program in Williamson County

• Event sponsorships — connect advertisers to the community moments that matter

This is a true sales role — outbound, consultative, and relationship-driven. You’ll prospect new business, grow existing accounts, and craft custom advertising packages that help local businesses thrive. The opportunity to succeed here is vast.

 

Compensation

This position has an aggressive, uncapped compensation plan built for closers. Top performers can earn well into six figures.

• Competitive base salary

• Uncapped commission — the more you sell, the more you make

What You’ll Do

• Prospect and develop new business through outbound calls, in-person meetings, and networking across Williamson County and surrounding areas

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts

• Build customized advertising packages — display, sponsored content, newsletter, Sizzle Awards, event sponsorships — that solve real marketing problems for local businesses

• Deliver compelling sales presentations using our media kit, audience data, and case studies

• Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals

• Stay sharp on digital advertising trends and Franklinis.com’s evolving offerings

• Represent the Franklinis.com brand at community events and within the local business community

 

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of successful sales experience (media, advertising, or B2B preferred — the right hunter)

• A self-starter mindset — you don’t wait for leads, you create them

• Comfort and confidence with cold outreach

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• A consultative approach — you listen, diagnose, and solve

• A closer’s instinct — you know how to ask for the business

• Working knowledge of digital advertising and how it drives ROI for local businesses

• Solid understanding of retail and small business operations

• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation

• A genuine love for our community is a huge plus
