Overview Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in Cleveland, Ohio. This travel assignment starts August 31, 2026, runs for 13 weeks, and offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week with a 5x8 day schedule (typical 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). The role supports a broad OR scope in an acute care environment, circulating and/or scrubbing across multiple service lines while maintaining patient safety and sterile technique. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,393–$2,586 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 days, typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Start date: August 31, 2026 Work setting: OR across multiple surgical service lines in an acute care environment Responsibilities Circulate and scrub for diverse cases across General, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Thoracic, and Robotics Maintain sterile technique, manage instrument and sponge counts, anticipate surgeon needs, and handle instruments and devices Prepare and turnover the OR between cases; assist with patient positioning, anesthesia prep, and skin prep as required Monitor patient status intraoperatively, manage equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout the case Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative teammates; support accurate intraoperative documentation Assist with post-anesthesia transport and handoffs as needed to ensure continuity of care Requirements Active Ohio RN license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Minimum 2 years OR experience CNOR is preferred; Level I trauma experience is preferred Ability to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance; ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk throughout the shift Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, Vocera, and Outlook (network access/applications may be required) Benefits and Support 36 guaranteed hours per week 13-week travel assignment with potential extension Start date: August 31, 2026 Dedicated recruiter and assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
