As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities as needed. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.55 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorized entry when required, and communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents or operational needs. Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related concerns in required logs, reports, or electronic systems. Minimum Requirements: Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
