Shift Details NOC 12hrs shift, 19:00 Start Time Nursing Specialty Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU) Neurology ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities Level II trauma NT/SICU unit. 12 bed 2:1 ratio unit. Specializes in neuro/trauma patients ability to care for patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, lumbar drains. Will have to float to Cardiovascular Unit or Telemetry Care Unit or ICU/CCU or Med Surg units as needed. Assess patients’ health conditions and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies. Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR). Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid, and unrestricted OR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing Must have at least 5 years acute critical care experience Must have EPIC charting experience Must have Level II trauma critical care experience Must have current CA RN license Must have current BLS and ACLS Must have previous traveler experience Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required. Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
