Electrical Hardware Design Engineer Bloomington, MN Contract Position Pay Estimated: $53.93-$58.93/Hour This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.) Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. Responsibilities Participate in all phases of hardware development: requirements analysis , schematic capture , routing constraint definition , and PCB/PWB layout direction Support manufacturing , integration & test , and qualification activities for electrical hardware systems Collaborate with internal teams , external stakeholders , and customers to deliver robust, high-performance solutions Guide layout and routing activities to ensure electrical performance and manufacturability Work with embedded processors , FPGAs , and fiber optic interfaces in high-speed design environments Qualifications U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering , or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience , or Master’s degree with 3+ years Working knowledge of Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tools Experience with circuit card design , including high-speed interfaces and packaging techniques On-site work or travel may be required depending on project needs Preferred Qualifications Electrical hardware design using Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition (schematic entry, constraint manager, HyperLynx SI/PI) High-speed, high-density circuit card design with embedded processors or FPGAs Experience designing with fiber optic interfaces Familiarity with advanced PCB materials , packaging techniques , and signal integrity constraints Proficiency using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and Ethernet network testers Strong understanding of the hardware development lifecycle Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
