About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Director of Communications and Public Relations to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing internal and public relations communications and campaigns that align with the company's digital-first innovations, initiatives, and impacts. This includes creating and implementing internal employee engagement strategies to foster understanding and adoption of the digital-first approach, as well as devising PR strategies to highlight the unique aspects of the digital innovations. The role also involves the execution of PR strategies, including written media communications and outreach to targeted consumer and tech media outlets, and maintaining a media list. Applicants for the Interim Director of Communications and Public Relations role at the company must have a strong portfolio that demonstrates experience in both internal and PR communications, with a specific background in consumer technology. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building relationships and working effectively with the media. Key requirements include the ability to think creatively, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strategic approach to communication and PR activities. The position is interim, fully remote, and freelance, with a commitment of at least 20 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months.
