Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) (ASCP) certification required.
• 2 years of experience required.
• Prior travel experience of one 13 week assignment required.
• Core Lab/Generalist experience required.

Assignment Details

• Shift schedule includes Wednesday through Saturday, 0700-1730.
• Every other Wednesday overnight shift, 2200-0630, is required.
• May be required to float within the organization based on competency.
• Will be required to work 2 or 3 major holidays.
• One additional shift during the schedule period is required.
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
