Registered Nurse - CVICU (Night Shift)This is a 13-week contract position.Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will have recent experience in CVICU, with a strong focus on post-operative cardiac care.Responsibilities:Provide care for cardiac surgery patients, including post-op recovery for CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR.Manage advanced cardiac devices such as Impella and IABP.Oversee CRRT procedures using PrisMax.Administer medications and IV therapies efficiently, including cardiac and vasoactive drips.Perform respiratory care procedures, including ventilator management.Conduct arterial blood gas analysis and respond to critical situations promptly.Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and maintain isolation precautions when needed.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Active RN license in New Jersey or Compact license required at time of submission.ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in CVICU is required; SICU experience may be considered if initially trained in CVICU.Experience with fresh post-op cardiac cases is essential.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
