Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Akron, OH 44307
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day (Variable) | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM OR 8:00 AM–4:00 PM OR 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Local Candidates: Yes – Required
Traveler Candidates: Yes – Accepted

Pay Rate:
Local: $48–$52/hr, as per experience
Traveler: $58–$62/hr, as per experience

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Endoscopy RN experience

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Ability to participate in call rotation

• 1–2 weekday calls per week

• 1–2 weekend calls every 6 weeks

• No scheduled weekends unless called in

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for endoscopy patients

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures

• Administer medications and monitor patients receiving procedural sedation

• Perform patient assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation

• Educate patients and families on procedure preparation and recovery

• Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotation with a 1-hour response time
