Staff Accountant

We are looking for a Staff Accountant at the Old No. 77 Hotel, a boutique property in New Orleans. Responsibilities and Duties Perform daily income audit, review system reports, and balance daily transactions. Process accounts payable, including posting invoices and running weekly checks. Record bi‑weekly and month‑end payroll journal and statutory entries. Perform weekly, bi‑weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations with deadlines. Prepare and file local, state monthly/quarterly sales, use and occupancy taxes. Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly. Assist with month‑end journal entries and close duties. Process and mail out year‑end 1099s. Maintain good working relationship with all departments. Train and assist with coordination of accounting processes. Qualifications Experienced in basic accounting processes. Hotel finance/accounting experience preferred. Associate college degree or equivalent experience/training. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to accomplish necessary tasks on a computer. Compensation $20 – $22. Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal‑opportunity employer.
