This position is fully remote, allowing therapists the flexibility to work from their homes while maintaining regular engagement with clients through online platforms. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a structured yet adaptable work schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health status, focusing on the severity and impact of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs, aspirations, and feedback.

  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies for better management of their conditions.

  • Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring responsive care that adapts to changing circumstances.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, facilitating a holistic approach to client health.

  • Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to enhance knowledge and treatment approaches.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients grappling with mood disorders, many of whom may also be navigating complex life situations such as homelessness, refugee status, or experiences of domestic abuse. Your role will involve providing essential support that not only addresses clinical symptoms but also empowers clients to reclaim their lives and develop resilience.

Qualifications\n

  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
