Veterinary ReceptionistFestival Veterinary Clinic is hiring a full-time front-desk receptionist to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Monday through Friday, rotating 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Rotating Saturdays 8:00 am to 1:00 PMKey Responsibilities:Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.Qualifications:Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanorAbout Festival Veterinary ClinicFestival Veterinary Clinic has been proudly serving pets and their families in Harford County, Maryland, since 1994.
