Are you someone who is detail-oriented and excels at multitasking? We're partnering with a growing company in the energy industry that is looking for a professional and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly. In this position, you'll ensure customer orders are entered quickly and accurately so they can move through shipping and invoicing, ultimately becoming revenue for the company.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Order Entry and Accounting Specialist, you'll ensure orders are processed with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Once you've mastered the order entry process, you'll have opportunities to expand into additional accounting-related responsibilities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensuring all order information and supporting documentation are entered correctly
• Monitoring and responding to Microsoft Teams communications related to the order process
• Prioritizing accuracy while maintaining productivity
• Supporting the flow of orders through shipping and invoicing

The majority of this role will focus on order entry. Accuracy is absolutely essential. While efficiency is important, producing quality work and ensuring information is entered correctly is the top priority.

Growth Opportunity

After successfully completing training and mastering the order entry process, you'll have the opportunity to expand your responsibilities by learning additional accounting support functions, including:

• Entering invoices and bills for payment
• Assisting with accounts payable activities
• Following up with customers regarding payment status
• Supporting accounts receivable functions

Previous accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience is a plus, but not required.

This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in building a career in accounting.

Qualifications

✅ Administrative, clerical, data entry, or office support experience preferred
✅ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✅ Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
✅ Professional verbal and written communication skills
✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively
✅ Basic computer proficiency and comfort using Microsoft Office, Teams, and ERP software such as NetSuite
✅ Accounting experience is a plus, but not required
✅ Positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn
