Senior Oncology Specialist What You Will Do Serve as the primary customer contact and liaison to customers by providing current, comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals. Communicate clinical and economic benefits of products. Achieve territory sales by: Creating and executing a comprehensive territory plan (branded sales messages, planned programs, scheduling and follow-up for medical educational programs, and achieving/exceeding sales targets). Servicing and managing accounts (product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, maintaining product contracts). Crafting an effective marketing strategy to drive sales. Analyzing business effectiveness and territory analysis; developing territory plans with the District Manager. Sustaining passion for products throughout the sales cycle while building the brand and serving patients. Partnering with colleagues to share best practices and continuously learn. Leveraging oncology and disease-state awareness and monitoring industry, regulatory, and competitive changes to deliver agreed results. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience (healthcare/scientific field, not sales related) OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales/clinical experience OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales/clinical experience. Preferred Qualifications Oncology experience. 3+ years of sales and/or marketing experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare/medical device. Product/hospital sales experience in oncology and related specialties (as listed in posting). Local market knowledge. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
