Radiation Therapist Level I

The Radiation Therapist Level I is responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. This position operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. The role requires the ability to work closely with patients and healthcare professionals. Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and their families. Attention to detail is critical in administering treatments accurately and safely. A commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of radiation therapy is expected.

Minimum of 1 year required experience, valid state license, current BLS certification, associate's degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Science, certificate in radiation therapy from an accredited program, registered or registry eligible by ARRT with registration to be obtained within one year of graduation, two years of experience in radiation therapy.
