Job Title: Press Machine Operator
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Shift: Monday - Friday (6am - 4pm)
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00
Location: San Antonio, TX (Northside)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Press Machine Operator to operate and monitor flexographic printing equipment and produce high-quality printed materials according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience operating machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet daily production schedules and performance goals
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records
• Adjust registration, pressure, speed, and other settings as needed
• Mix, load, and monitor inks to maintain proper color and print quality
• Change rolls, plates, inks, and other production materials as required
• Perform routine quality checks and make adjustments to correct defects
• Safely operate and monitor flexographic press equipment during production
• Inspect printed materials throughout production to ensure quality and consistency
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot basic mechanical or operational issues
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean and properly organized
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, PPE requirements, and production standards
• Set up presses for production runs, including loading materials, installing plates, and adjusting machine settings
• Communicate equipment concerns, production issues, and quality problems to supervisors or maintenance personnel

Qualifications

• Basic math, measurement, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance and basic machine troubleshooting
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, or other precision measurement tools is a plus
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to read and follow production specifications, work instructions, and quality standards
• 4+ years of hands-on machine operation experience in a manufacturing or production environment
