Controller | Hybrid (Roswell, GA)

Beech Valley is supporting a private equity-backed, high-growth fitness franchise company in its search for a hands‑on Controller to build and scale the accounting function. This role will partner closely with leadership and play a critical role in developing financial infrastructure, reporting, and processes as the company expands its national franchise footprint. The ideal candidate brings proven experience scaling multi‑unit or franchise businesses and thrives in a fast‑paced, build environment. What You’ll Do Lead month‑end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Build and enhance financial and operational reporting, including KPIs and management dashboards Develop scalable processes and controls across the back office to support rapid growth Oversee Accounts Payable and review payroll processed by a third‑party provider Translate financial data into actionable insights for executive leadership Support annual audit processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards Evaluate systems and help guide future ERP implementation from QuickBooks Online Manage and mentor a small accounting team (1–2 staff) What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader in a scaling environment Demonstrated success in multi‑unit or franchise business models strongly preferred Strong ownership mindset with a hands‑on approach Expertise in building reporting processes, KPIs, and financial insights for leadership Solid foundation in accounting operations, close, and financial analysis Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) required Ability to operate strategically while executing tactically CPA preferred but not required Nice to Have Background in fitness, franchise, or SaaS environments Experience working with private equity-backed companies Exposure to ERP system selection or implementation #J-18808-Ljbffr Beech Valley Solutions
