OnSite Specialist - Kalamazoo, MI

Field-based OnSite Specialist supporting surgical operations at a medical facility. Manages Stryker equipment and devices during procedures, troubleshoots technical issues, coordinates with OR staff, and maintains surgical readiness through case preparation and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot Stryker surgical towers, booms, and integrated systems
• Manage case cart staging, instrument picking, and inventory coordination with surgical teams
• Provide real-time technical support and equipment adjustments during surgical procedures
• Clean, disinfect, and perform basic maintenance on surgical equipment post-procedure
• Educate OR and sterile processing staff on proper equipment use and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Operating room experience with knowledge of surgical procedures and anatomy
• Associate's degree or equivalent certifications preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues independently in high-stress situations
• Physical capability to stand extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, on-call coverage, and overnight travel as needed
• Current knowledge of minimally invasive surgical procedures and equipment
