Experience:
Minimum years of experience required: Experienced in OB preferred.
License: Active NC license or IMLC for faster NC license processing required.
Certifications: Certified in regional anesthesia course preferred.


Must-Have:
Must be able to produce case logs showing regional and OB proficiency.
Must be comfortable in a highly autonomous environment, including solo call.


Description:
Current need for CRNAs to work in an acute care setting with a mix of general, obstetric, orthopedic, and endoscopy cases.
The facility typically handles around 200 deliveries annually and has 30 inpatient beds.
Daily patient volume averages 150 cases per month.
The support staff consists of one MD and three CRNAs in-house daily.
Shift requirements vary with a mixture of 8s, 10s, or 12-hour in-house shifts from Monday to Friday.
Unrestricted beeper call is from 5pm to 7am Monday to Friday and 7am to 7am on Saturday and Sunday.
CRNAs will take call duty every four nights, either as primary or secondary call.
Call is required, and during this time, providers will work autonomously without the supervision of an anesthesiologist.
The intensity of call has a greater than 50% callback rate when serving primary call due to add-on cases or procedures, including epidural placements overnight.
The care team model has a provider ratio of 1 MD to 3 CRNAs.
Credentialing processes are in place to accommodate incoming CRNAs and ensure necessary permissions are granted.
