Essential Job Duties

• Sort recyclable materials from a moving conveyor line
• Identify and separate different types of recyclable and non recyclable materials
• Remove contaminants and unwanted materials from the recycling stream
• Place sorted materials into designated containers or collection areas
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Safely work around conveyors, machinery, and other equipment
• Perform repetitive lifting, reaching, bending, and twisting throughout the shift
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or hazardous materials to a supervisor
• Assist with general cleanup and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, recycling, or general labor experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to lift up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Comfortable working around machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures

Physical Requirements

• Standing for the majority of the shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting
• Repetitive hand and arm movements
• Ability to lift and carry materials as needed
• Ability to work in an industrial/recycling facility environment

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
