A flat $1,008 a week with overtime available on top, and you're

home daily. Dedicated night-shift work running out of Pueblo for

a major retail distribution customer. 1 seat open.

THE POSITION

- Freight: dedicated dry van

- Runs out of a Pueblo, CO distribution center

- Night shift

- This account requires 1 year of verifiable Class A driving

Three things you should know going in. This is a night-shift

position — not "sometimes nights," nights. If your household runs

on a daytime schedule, think it through before you apply, because

flipping your clock is the hardest part of a job like this and

it's the number one reason drivers leave night work. Weekends and

holidays are both required, so this isn't a Monday-through-Friday

seat. And southern Colorado winters are real driving — wind, snow

and cold are part of the job several months a year. In exchange:

you get a flat weekly rate that doesn't swing with the miles,

overtime is available if you want to build the check up, you're

home daily, and nights mean you're running when the roads are

empty instead of sitting in traffic. There is exactly one seat on

this account, so it's a real opening.

ORIENTATION

- Virtual orientation available, typically 30 minutes to 2 hours

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

AGE & LICENSE

- 21 years or older

- Valid Class A CDL

- Must have held a U.S. driver's license the last 12 consecutive months

- Current DOT medical card (new DOT physical required at hire)

- No endorsements required for this position

EXPERIENCE — one of the following

- 6 months OTR experience within the last 12 months, OR

- 12 months OTR experience within the last 5 years

DRIVING RECORD

- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

- No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months

- Speeding 30+ MPH over = automatic disqualification for 3 years

- Original ticket copies required for all citations in the last 3 years

ACCIDENTS

- No more than 1 DOT preventable accident in the last 2 years

- No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

- No more than 3 preventable incidents in the last 2 years

- Preventable rear-end accident = 1 year disqualification

- Accident reports required for ALL accidents in the last 5 years

WORK HISTORY

- No more than 4 driving jobs in the last 12 months

- No more than 1 safety-related termination in the last 5 years

DUI / DWI

- No DUI/DWI in a commercial vehicle — ever

- No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years while holding a CDL or CLP

- No DUI/DWI in the 5 years before obtaining your CDL or CLP

- No multiple DUI/DWIs

DRUG & ALCOHOL TESTING

- No failed or refused drug tests — no exceptions

- Hair AND urine testing required, both must be passed

- No drug-related convictions in the last 5 years

CRIMINAL HISTORY

- Violence, theft, drug, and sex-related offenses reviewed individually

verification, criminal background review, MVR, Clearinghouse query,

drug testing, and final approval.
