The Assistant Manager Store plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations within a specialty retail environment. Overseeing a team of 1-5 employees, this role acts as the primary contact for customers while managing various aspects of store functions, including inventory, sales, and cash handling. The Assistant Manager also supports scheduling, facilitating effective team leadership and customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 1-5 employees
• Manage inventory and order processing
• Deliver excellent customer service as the primary customer contact
• Monitor sales and generate related reports
• Handle cash transactions accurately
• Oversee daily store operations
• Assist with staff scheduling and payroll processes

 

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in paint retail management and staff supervision
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of inventory control and cash handling procedures
• Ability in sales reporting and problem solving
• Effective time management and team leadership abilities
