Manufacturing General Laborer - up to $20/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Laborer to perform a variety of general labor tasks within our metal manufacturing environment. This role involves prepping parts for welders, machine operators, and metal fabrication workers, as well as assisting with material handling, loading, and unloading. Proficiency in using tape measures, hand tools, and power tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for welders, machine operators, and metal fabrication workers.

• Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading tasks.

• Utilize tape measures and operate hand and power tools efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Experience in fabrication, reading tape measure, etc.

• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools.

• Skilled in material handling and general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any education or certifications related to the manufacturing industry are a bonus.

• Experience with overhead cranes is a bonus.

Pay & shift

• Pay: $19-20/hour + $1 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shift

• Shift: 1st Shift - 6AM-4:30PM, 2nd Shift - 4:30PM-3AM, 3rd shift - 7:30PM-6AM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
