Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled ICU RN to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The position involves floating across multiple units to ensure staffing needs are met.

Responsibilities:

Administer comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and general medical-surgical units.
Monitor patient vital signs, adjust treatments, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR.
Adhere to all safety and quality standards, including medication administration and patient safety protocols.
Float to Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and clinical competence.

Qualifications:

Valid, active, or pending Arizona RN license or compact license required.
Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience; strong Med/Surg/Tele experience considered.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Proven ability to float across units and adapt to different clinical environments.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 to 19:00.
