Job Description: This position will complete speech and language evaluations/due process paperwork within the Monticello Public Schools. Caseload students and provide direct and indirect services to students preschool and kindergarten. The speech-language pathologist will collaborate with other service providers.

License & Experience:

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Minnesota
• Knowledge and experience working with students with speech and language impairments
• Experience working students and families

Essential Skills:

• Knowledge and experience completing assessments and due process and follow timeline requirements of special education
• Experience working with preschool, elementary , and secondary aged students
• Must be able to assure and implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education
• Team oriented approach when working with students, colleagues, families, and administrators
• Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff
• Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district
• Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
• Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred

Salary Range: $45,921 - $93,884
