What Will You Be Doing?

• Oversee all aspects of the building process, working closely with key stakeholders, including estimating, scheduling, safety, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, cost reporting, submittals, RFI's, pay requests, etc.
• Creates and maintains master project schedule in P6.
• Oversee the buyout process, selection of subcontractors, contract negotiations, and writing subcontractor scopes of work.
• Establish and manage project budget including a monthly cost projections.
• Motivate a team to deliver first time quality adhering to plans and specifications of the project.

Position Requirements

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field experience
• 3-8 years of relevant experience including leading ground up construction projects up to $8M+ in diverse sectors including education, municipal, retail, and tenant improvement.
• Advanced knowledge of constructability
• Experience leading successful project teams, including development of employees, managing and motivating subcontractors, and maintaining relationships with clients.
• Intermediate Excel user familiar with how to use pivot tables, VLOOKUP, functions, etc.
• Experience using Vista by Viewpoint and Primavera P6
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed.
