Staff Accountant

This is a particularly strong opportunity for a CPA, EA, or accountant actively working toward one of those designations who has 3-5+ years of experience and wants a genuine opportunity to grow professionally. The Role You'll work with a diverse portfolio of small business clients, handling accounting, tax preparation, compliance, and advisory-related responsibilities. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns Preparing federal and state tax filings Preparing payroll tax and sales tax returns Reviewing and analyzing accounting records and financial statements Providing small business accounting and bookkeeping services Working extensively with QuickBooks Communicating directly with clients regarding accounting and tax matters Taking on progressively greater responsibility as you develop within the firm The Ideal Candidate We're interested in speaking with professionals who have: 3-5+ years of accounting/public accounting experience Strong small business accounting experience CPA or EA designation OR actively pursuing CPA/EA Strong client-facing and communication skills An interest in eventually taking on management responsibility Compensation Annual bonus Real career advancement potential Competitive benefits package A Great Fit For Someone Who Is...
