About the Position

Job Title: RN NICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Level II-III NICU experience Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The unit has a total of 41 beds with approximately 60 staff members. Staffing includes a charge RN and multiple RNs during both day and night shifts. Patient ratios typically range from 1:1 to 1:4, with the latter being rare. The unit utilizes various equipment including HFOV, central lines, conventional vents, CPAP, NIPPV, and EMR systems. Preferred candidates will have experience in Level III-IV care. Typical procedures in the unit include surgery (excluding heads and hearts), respiratory support, and micro-premie care. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong teamwork orientation. The position requires 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule, with no on-call duty.
