Clinic CoordinatorThe Clinic Coordinator at Central Texas Heart Center plays a vital role in promoting the highest level of patient care while fostering a positive and safe environment. This position works closely with a team of healthcare professionals, administration and clinic team members. The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily clinic operations, managing clinic supplies, supervising the clinical team, coordinating and/or conducting training, and administering designate human resource functions. This role also supports the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise and support clinical staff, coordinating staff scheduling to optimize patient flow and care.Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in clinic activities.Collaborate with the healthcare providers and administration to support patient care initiatives and improve service delivery.Ensure effective policies, procedures, and protocol are in place; assist in creating and implementing new protocols.Support recruitment processes and interview clinical candidates.Approve clinical team members' timesheets and paid time off requests. Ensure adequate coverage during clinical staff absences, including managing time-off requests and unscheduled time off.Conduct performance reviews for clinical team members.Monitor medical supply inventory levels, and order supplies as needed.Minimum Qualifications:Certified Medical Assistant.Two years' experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a medical office setting.Must possess critical thinking skills.Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced medical office.EMR experience, preferably e-ClinicalWorks (eCW).Human Resources experience of at least one year.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Benefits:Paid Employee Health and Dental Insurance.Vision, Hearing Insurance offered.Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance offered.401(k).PTO accrual on day one.Paid Holidays in addition to PTO.8hrs Personal Day (annually).Annual Performance Reviews.Close at Noon on Friday.
