Financial Services Representative

Role Overview As a Financial Services Representative, you are the face of World Finance—empathizing, empowering, and engaging with our customers. Your primary responsibility is to assist the Branch Manager in operating the branch effectively and efficiently and to maximize growth. The position requires sound lending skills, maximization of potential profits, adherence to policies for effective account collection, and a strong commitment to excellent customer service, which is an essential part of marketing the branch and company culture. Compensation Hourly Pay: $17–$19. Responsibilities Guide customers toward upward credit mobility through sound financial choices. Provide top‑tier customer service, assisting customers with questions, concerns, and products. Process and prepare loan applications. Take and process payments. Prepare loan documents and execute loan closing on current renewal loans. Balance assigned cash drawer daily. Prepare and complete the daily branch bank deposit and, if necessary, transport cash to and from the bank. Maintain strong customer relationships and build community within the branch. Call approved and unmade applications to close loans daily. Help build tax clientele and provide tax services. Send complete and accurate credit denial letters within 30 days from the date of application. Pay branch expenses as instructed by the Branch Manager. Qualifications Demonstrated self‑confidence and strong organizational skills. A history of kindness, compassion, and a willingness to help others. A commitment to seek quality‑driven solutions and embrace new ideas. A team player who pitches in when needed and accepts help. Basic computer skills. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to transport bank deposits and fulfill other required responsibilities. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Frequently stationary with regular movement throughout the office; occasional climbing, kneeling, bending, twisting, and reaching. Occasionally lifts up to 5 pounds and may exert up to 30 pounds of force (e.g., opening file drawers). Requires regular use of vision, hearing, fine motor skills, and verbal/written communication. Fast‑paced, high‑demand environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines; requires professionalism, multitasking, adaptability, and collaboration. Occasional local travel; may include extended hours, evenings, or weekends. Standard indoor office setting with shared workspace, typical noise, lighting, and temperature. Frequent customer and coworker interaction; must communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and electronically. Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
