HR Coordinator

Job Title: HR Assistant (Temporary, Onsite) Industry: Human Resources / Corporate Administration Location (city, state): Reston, VA Assignment Type: Contract, 1-month assignment (onsite) Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch), 40 hours per week. Anticipated start in mid-October. Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). About the Company: Our client is a well-established organization with a large national workforce and a professional corporate office environment. The HR team is small and collaborative, supporting employees across multiple locations. Job Description: We're seeking a temporary HR Assistant to support a short-term records project within a busy Human Resources department. You'll review and verify confidential personnel files while assisting the team with a variety of day-to-day administrative needs. This is a fully onsite role. Key Responsibilities: Review confidential employee records for completeness and accuracy Convert paper documents into electronic files using scanners and copiers Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems Handle sensitive information with discretion at all times Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed Qualifications: 6 to 12 months of experience as an HR Assistant in an onsite, corporate setting Hands-on experience reviewing or auditing confidential employee files Comfortable using scanners, copy machines, and electronic filing systems Polished, professional presence with strong written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Solid understanding of confidentiality standards Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Additional Details: Overtime is unlikely and requires prior approval Candidates must be able to commute to the Reston area reliably Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
