We are currently recruiting for a PRN Pharmacy Technician to work as needed covering vacation/PTO/on-call hours. Must have flexibility in schedule as the facility hours are open Monday Friday 8AM - 4:30PM, and closed on weekends./ph3Job Summary/h3pThe Technician II, Health Systems Pharmacy helps the Pharmacist in the daily operations of the pharmacy. This includes the preparation of and filling of prescriptions, taking pharmacy inventory and processing product returns. The Technician II, Health Systems Pharmacy ensures that all orders are reviewed by a registered pharmacist and records all activity in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. This job frequently communicates with customers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment of all orders./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliAssists the Pharmacist as needed, permitted by State Boards of Pharmacy./liliMaintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations./liliInputs patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy information management system./liliTakes inventory, places orders, checks in drugs and supplies, stocks shelves and removes out-of-date items from the inventory./liliCommunicates with all customers in a pleasant and professional manner./liliMaintains knowledge of and abides by all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliHigh school degree or equivalent/liliState Pharmacy Technician license/registration required/liliNational pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) preferred/liliIV certification highly preferred/liliIn-patient hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred/liliFlexibility in working schedule/liliAbility to work in a group/liliStrong verbal and written communication skills required/liliStrong customer service skills required/liliComfortable performing repetitive motions/tasks is required/liliAbility to manage several tasks at the same time; Ability to focus on tasks; Ability to evaluate operating conditions; Ability to exercise sound judgment/liliDemonstrated ability to use technology such as computers, smart phones and tablets/liliMay require vendor credentialing./li/ulh3What is expected of you and others at this level/h3ulliApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks/liliReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area/liliMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications/liliWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolution/liliWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods/liliAdheres to all quality guidelines/liliWorks under moderate degree of supervision/liliWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor/liliRefers complex unusual problems to supervisor/li/ulpAnticipated hourly range: $18.90 per hour - $24.30 per hour./ppBonus eligible: No/ppBenefits: Paid time off in compliance with applicable laws./ppApplication window anticipated to close: 6/6/2026 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible./ppThe hourly range listed is an estimate.
