Histotechnician

Position Summary This position receives, accession, and performs histology laboratory testing in accordance with laboratory protocol. Required Qualifications Associate degree and graduate of a school of Histotechnology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Licensure / Registration / Certification American Society of Clinical Pathology or National Certification Agency. Must attain certification within 18 months of hire. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Attention to detail. Ability to perform work requiring manual dexterity. Good problem‑solving skills. Good customer service skills. Ability to work independently.
