This position is responsible for creating positive customer relationships. The Contractor Sales Representative is building a book of business to become an Outside Sales Representative. Other duties may be assigned by Store Manager./ppResponsibilities:/ppBuilds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads./ppCommunicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs./ppDemonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs./ppEnsures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale./ppMaintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest./ppMaintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems./ppQualifications:/ppCreate and continually grow book of business and acquire new customers./ppCreate material estimates/read blueprints./ppSource special order material./ppRespond to common inquiries or complaints from customers./ppExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills./ppExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail./ppStrong analytical and problem-solving skills./ppAbility to function in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment./ppReading prints./ppCreating material estimates./ppSourcing special orders./pp84 Lumber Company is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
