Payroll Operations & Workday Support Analyst

The Payroll Operations & Workday Support Analyst is responsible for supporting payroll operations through Workday system execution, payroll reporting and data extracts, compliance and control support, and operational issue resolution. This role partners closely with Accounting, HR, Legal, Tax, Technology, and external vendors to ensure payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective day-to-day operations. The position is hands-on and execution-focused, supporting recurring payroll cycles, audits, year-end activities, and ad-hoc operational needs critical to business continuity.

Required Qualifications

Prior experience supporting payroll operations and/or time tracking in an HRIS environment. Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll and/or Workday Time Tracking. Strong understanding of payroll data, internal controls, and compliance considerations. Experience producing payroll reports and working with employee-level compensation and time data. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple operational priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting payroll operations within a large, regulated organization. Exposure to payroll compliance, audit, or regulatory reporting activities. Familiarity with payroll tax concepts and multi-state payroll considerations. Experience working with external payroll vendors and consulting partners. Advanced Excel or payroll data analysis skills.
