Job Description
Summary: Seeking a high energy, self-starter to facilitate the packaging and shipping of all products going out. This person will work under the direction of the Shipping Lead. They will coordinate with other departments to assure that all required parts and hardware are included and that products are packaged in a way that minimizes the chance of damage during transit.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Use power tools and hand tools to build crates and pallets to be used for shipping products.
- Secure products to ensure safe transit to customer location.
- Weight and measure packaged product.
- Operate a forklift.
- Match production order to packing slip to packaged product to ensure everything is included.
- Document product packaging and security in truck by taking pictures with camera.
- Upload pictures from camera to computer.
- Follow good housekeeping practices in keeping work area clean.
- Perform assigned duties following safe manufacturing processes and conform to shop safety rules.
- Miscellaneous duties at the request of the Shipping Lead.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform basic calculations using a calculator. Must be able to read and use tape measure.
