AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for dynamic and energetic Pediatric Hospitalists to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa in association with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric admissions in our 15‑bed pediatric medical‑surgical unit.
• Support ED pediatric consults and participate in daily family‑centered rounding.
• Cover the Level 1 newborn nursery with the support of an Advanced Practice Provider.
• Maintain a flexible schedule of roughly 14 12‑hour shifts per month as a full‑time pediatric hospitalist, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Assist with care in the 28‑bed Level 3 NICU, which has 24/7 neonatologist coverage.
• Provide support in the 5‑bed pediatric intensive care unit with intensivist coverage.
• Offer pediatric surgical and medical specialty support on site.

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility through the American Board of Pediatrics.

• Excellent communication skills.

Location & Collaboration

AdventHealth Tampa partners with AdventHealth for Children, including the Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando. Patients will have the support of this full‑service tertiary children’s hospital, which features over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 pediatric ICU beds, a 102‑bed NICU, a 17‑bed pediatric emergency department, and a statewide pediatric network and transport system.
