Electrical Engineer – Production Support

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support production operations at a Raytheon facility. This role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership of issue resolution from initial assessment through final closure. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has experience working with complex electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid problem assessments and develop effective troubleshooting and resolution plans

• Support production and supplier-related issue resolution, including failure analysis and corrective actions

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive issues to completion and provide regular status updates

• Maintain and update technical data packages (TDP), including creating and processing change documentation using cPDM

• Present engineering changes in Review Boards/Change Boards

• Troubleshoot electronic systems using lab equipment such as:

• Oscilloscopes

• Logic analyzers

• Function generators

• Programmable power supplies

• Spectrum and network analyzers

• Analyze defect and yield data to identify trends and implement process improvements

• Participate in peer reviews with Engineering and Operations teams

• Support general electrical engineering activities related to production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Experience in a manufacturing or production support environment

• Strong troubleshooting skills with electronic test equipment

• Familiarity with technical documentation and engineering change processes

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across diverse teams

• Ability to take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cPDM or similar product data management tools

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing environments

• Experience analyzing yield/defect data for continuous improvement initiatives

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
