Fleet Operations Manager

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Regional Fleet Manager for a leading infrastructure services firm in Corpus Christi, TX. This individual will take ownership of maintenance operations, ensuring all fleet assets are safe, compliant, and fully operational to support day-to-day business needs. The role is highly hands-on and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment—driving preventative maintenance programs, optimizing repair workflows, and managing technicians and vendors across multiple locations. This person will partner closely with local leadership to ensure uptime, efficiency, and cost control while standardizing processes and elevating overall fleet performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair operations for all fleet assets across assigned region
• Lead and manage mechanics/technicians, ensuring quality, performance, and accountability
• Implement and enforce preventive maintenance schedules and repair workflows
• Partner with branch/location leadership to prioritize repairs and improve fleet uptime
• Monitor KPIs such as uptime, downtime, work orders, and service intervals
• Manage third-party vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, high-quality repairs
• Analyze maintenance spend and repair trends to identify cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fleet maintenance, fleet operations, heavy equipment, or asset management experience
• Experience managing maintenance/repair operations across multiple sites or regions
• Direct leadership experience overseeing mechanics or technicians
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and repair coordination workflows
